Vogue And Jordan Collaborate On Anna Wintour Inspired Air Jordans

Yesterday Vogue announced its collaboration with the Jordan Brand, the new styles of Air Jordans is said to be inspired by none other than Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.



The first of the two new styles is the Air Jordan I High Zip AWOK (which Wintour rocks in the video teaser below), the classic sneaker features stylish details like a circle-pull metal zipper that reveals a crimson red tongue, Swoosh logos, an “Edited By Vogue” hangtag and AWOK on the tongue as well as the sole. The second is the Air Jordan 3 SE which is a direct tribute to Anna Wintour as the materials are inspired by Wintour’s famous tweed suits and sunglasses, this version features AWOK on the heel and comes with “Edited By Vogue”  hangtag.

The fashion icon Anna Wintour signed off on all projects with “AWOK” which simply stands for “Anna Wintour OK”. The Air Jordan 1 High Zip will be available Saturday July 21st and the Air Jordan 3 AWOK will be available on September 7th.
